Muscongus Bay again, with friends Judith and Wayne and Annie, a tune-up for my upcoming trip to the Queen Charlottes, four days, four paddles: a ten mile tour of Boothbay Harbor, a twenty mile loop from Bremen to Port Clyde via Friendship then back, a foggy ten mile paddle with the tide from Bremen toward Waldoboro on the Medomak (returning with the ebb), and a beautiful ten mile day out of Port Clyde touring the loop of islands to Burnt Island. Lots of Osprey and Eider, seals near Port Clyde and a beautiful bald eagle too.
